Viewing Upcoming Dates
Keeping track of deadlines across multiple clients can be challenging. Notehouse helps by showing important dates in two places: an upcoming dates widget for a high-level view, and client-specific date lists for detailed context.
Together, these views help you see what’s coming up, prioritize work, and avoid missed deadlines.

Important Dates Widget
The Important Dates widget gives you a quick overview of upcoming deadlines across all clients.
You’ll find it on the Clients list page. It shows the nearest upcoming dates first, and each entry links directly to the related client record so you can jump into details quickly.
This view is designed for at-a-glance awareness, which is perfect for checking what’s coming up today or later in the week.
Client-Specific Dates
To view dates for a single client:
- Open the client’s detail page
- Scroll to the Important Dates section
All dates for that client are shown together, including both past and future entries. This makes it easy to understand timelines, track progress, and review history in context.
Understanding the Display
Each important date includes:
- the date itself
- a short title describing the event
- the associated client (in widget view)
Visual cues help distinguish upcoming, current, and past dates so you can quickly tell what needs attention.
Staying On Top of Deadlines
To use important dates effectively:
- Check the widget regularly to spot upcoming deadlines
- Review client-specific dates when planning work
- Update or adjust dates as timelines change
- Use dates as a shared reference point when coordinating with your team
Consistent use of important dates helps create a reliable system for deadline tracking and follow-through.
