What Are Important Dates
Important Dates track time-sensitive information for a specific client, such as:
- Filing deadlines
- Court dates
- Meetings or appointments
- Contract expirations
- Follow-ups and renewals
Dates can be set in the past for record-keeping or in the future to track upcoming events.
Creating an Important Date
- Open the client’s record
- Click on the pencil icon next to where it says "Important Dates"
- Click "Add Date"
- Enter the required information
- Save the date

Best Practices
- Be specific: use clear, action-oriented descriptions
- Add buffer time: set reminders before deadlines
- Include context: note what action is required
- Review regularly: check upcoming dates weekly
- Update as needed: adjust dates when details change
