Important Dates help you track deadlines, appointments, and key milestones for each client.

What Are Important Dates?
Important Dates track time-sensitive information for a specific client, such as:
- Filing deadlines
- Court dates
- Meetings or appointments
- Contract expirations
- Follow-ups and renewals
Dates can be set in the past for record-keeping or in the future to track upcoming events.
Creating an Important Date
- Open the client’s record
- Click the pencil icon next to Important Dates
- Click Add Date
- Enter the required details, including the description and date
- Click Add Date to save

Best Practices
- Be specific: use clear, action-oriented descriptions.
- Add buffer time: set reminders before deadlines.
- Include context: note what action is required.
- Review regularly: check upcoming dates weekly.
- Update as needed: adjust dates when details change.
