Navigating the Notehouse Interface
Understanding how Notehouse is organized helps you work more efficiently. Notehouse is designed to be intuitive, but this guide is designed to save you time as you navigate a new interface.
Table of Contents
Main Layout
Notehouse uses a clean, focused layout with three core areas:
- A header at the top for navigation and account access
- A main content area where you view clients and records
- A footer with application links and information
Header Navigation
The header gives you quick access to key actions:
- Clicking the Notehouse logo returns you to the clients list
- The user menu (top right) opens your account options, including profile settings, feedback, and logout
Clients List
After logging in, you’ll land on the clients list. From here, you can:
- Create, import, or export clients
- Search by client name
- Filter by status, assigned user, or tags
- Sort columns or open a client record by clicking a row
This view is your main workspace for managing and organizing clients.
Note: Depending on the label set for your organization as designated by your Account Owner, this label may say something else like: Case, Student, Customer, Contact, etc.
Client Detail View
Clicking a client opens their full record, where all related information lives in one place. This includes:
- Client name and status
- Contact information
- Case or file details
- Notes and attachments
- Important dates
- Assigned tags
All client activity and updates are centralized here.
Account Settings
You can access account settings from the user menu in the header. Depending on your permissions, you may see tabs for:
- Profile – your personal information
- Security – password and two-factor authentication
- Organization – organization-wide settings
- Users – team management
- Billing – subscription and invoices
Not all users will have access to every section due to varying permission levels.
