Managing Your Subscription
Notehouse billing is handled through Stripe’s secure customer portal. From there, you can manage your subscription, update payment methods, and download invoices, all without leaving your account.
All billing actions take place in Stripe rather than directly in Notehouse. This keeps your payment information secure and gives you familiar, self-service billing tools.

Accessing Billing
To open the billing portal:
- Go to Account Settings
- Open the Billing tab
- Click Manage Billing to access the customer portal

You’ll be redirected to Stripe’s secure billing page where you can manage your subscription and payment methods directly.
What You Can Manage
From the Stripe customer portal, you can:
- View your current plan and subscription status
- Update payment methods
- Download invoices and view payment history
- Change or cancel your subscription
Any changes you make apply immediately. When you’re finished, you can return to Notehouse.
Billing Permissions
Only the Account Owner can access billing:
- The Billing tab is visible only to the Account Owner
- Other users cannot view or modify billing information
- Ownership must be transferred to grant billing access to someone else
