Managing Your Subscription

Notehouse billing is handled through Stripe’s secure customer portal. From there, you can manage your subscription, update payment methods, and download invoices through Stripe’s secure self-service billing tools.

All billing actions take place in Stripe rather than directly in Notehouse. This keeps your payment information secure and gives you familiar, self-service billing tools.

Accessing Billing

To open the billing portal:

  1. Go to Account Settings
  2. Open the Billing tab
  3. Click Manage Billing to access the Stripe customer portal

You’ll be redirected to the Stripe customer portal, where you can manage your subscription and payment methods directly.

What You Can Manage

From the Stripe customer portal, you can:

  • View your current plan and subscription status.
  • Update payment methods.
  • Download invoices and view payment history.
  • Change or cancel your subscription.

Some changes may apply immediately, while others may take effect at the end of the billing cycle. When you’re finished, you can return to Notehouse.

Billing Permissions

Only the Owner can access billing.

  • The Billing tab is visible only to the Owner.
  • Other users cannot view or modify billing information.
  • Ownership must be transferred to grant billing access to someone else.
