  2. Click Add Client
  3. Enter the client’s first and last name

Assigning a Manager

When creating a client, you can assign a team member to manage it. The assigned team member becomes the primary point of contact and may receive notifications related to that client. You can change the assignment at any time.

After Creation

After the client is created, it appears in your clients list. From the client record, you can:

  • Add notes and attachments
  • Set important dates
  • Apply tags
  • Complete contact information and fill in custom fields under General Information

General Information

After creating a client, you can add additional details in the General Information section of the client profile, where you can store basic client information. Depending on your organization’s setup, this may include:

  • Personal details, such as name, birthday, pronouns, phone number, and email address
  • Primary contact or emergency contact information
  • Address information
  • Alerts
  • Assigned manager
  • Custom fields created by your organization

Primary Contact and Emergency Contact Information

The Primary Contact field can be used for the main person your organization should contact for that client. This may be a parent, guardian, caregiver, emergency contact, or another primary point of contact, depending on your organization’s workflow.

To update General Information

  1. Open the client profile.
  2. Go to the General Information section and select the pencil icon.

  1. Select the fields you want to update.
  2. Enter the information.
  3. Save your changes.

If you need to track information that does not already have a dedicated field, your organization may be able to use custom fields to capture those details.
