Updating Your Payment Method
If your card expires or you need to switch payment methods, you can update your billing information through Stripe’s secure customer portal.

Accessing Payment Settings
- Go to Account Settings in Notehouse
- Open the Billing tab
- Click on Manage Billing

You will be taken to a Stripe Portal. You can manage all your billing and subscription directly here.
Adding a New Payment Method
- Select Add payment method
- Enter your card details and billing address
- Save the payment method
- Set it as your default if prompted

Stripe supports major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Available options may vary by region.
Removing Old Payment Methods
- Open your saved payment methods in the Stripe portal
- Select the card you want to remove by clicking the "X" next to the payment method you want to remove
- Confirm removal

If you have an active subscription, you’ll need at least one valid payment method on file. If you only have one payment method on file, you cannot remove it. Add a new card before removing your current one.
Payment Security
Your billing information is protected by Stripe’s industry-standard security:
- PCI-compliant payment processing
- Encrypted transactions
- Card details never stored in Notehouse
If your card is lost or compromised, update your payment method and contact your bank immediately.
