How to Export Client Data
Notehouse lets you export client data at any time, whether you need a backup, a report, or a copy for use outside the application.
You can export a single client for full detail, or multiple clients from the clients list.

Export Options
There are two ways to export client data:
- Export a single client’s full record
- Export multiple clients at once
Exporting a Single Client
- Open the client’s record
- Scroll down to Manage Client and click to open the drop-down menu
- Locate the Export option
- Start the export

The file downloads to your computer automatically.
A single-client export includes the full client record, such as notes, important dates, attachments (if applicable), and related details.
Exporting Multiple Clients
- Go to your Account Settings
- Go to Organization
- Scroll down to where it says Import & Export
- Select Export
- You can export all fields or only the filtered results, depending on your selection. You can also choose to export as a .CSV or Excel file by clicking on the drop-down menu to the top left.
- Alternatively, you can also export from the dashboard itself.


Please note, only users with certain permission roles are able to export all clients lists. If you do not see these options, you may not have the proper permissions. If you need your permissions changed, please reach out your organization's Admin or Account Owner.
Export Contents
Exports include core client information and related data, such as names, contact details, status, assigned users, tags, important dates, and timestamps.
When exporting a single client, notes and related attachments are also included.
Export files are provided in a spreadsheet-friendly format for easy viewing and sharing.
