Who Needs a BAA?

A BAA is only required if your organization is a HIPAA-covered entity or business associate and will be storing or handling protected health information (PHI) in Notehouse.

If your organization does not qualify as a covered entity, business associate, or does not store PHI in Notehouse, a BAA is not needed.

If you have questions about whether your organization needs a BAA, please consult your internal compliance team or legal counsel, as requirements vary by workflow and organizational type.
